Volume III of the popular anthology "Echoes of the Ozarks" came out in December, 2007 from AWOC.COM Publishing, Denton, Texas. Again, Jacqueline Potter made the cut when Ozarks Writers League editors selected her poem " Legendary Ozark Rivers" for inclusion. She says she intended to submit a personal essay with the same title, but it turned into a poem, instead.

Last year, Jacqueline meant to write a one-page poem, but during the writing process, it turned into a two-and-a-half page personal essay called "Migration Patterns" which the editors placed on Page 71 of "Echoes
of the Ozarks, Vol. II" Copyright 2006, AWOC.COM Publishing, Denton, Texas.

"Legendary Ozark Rivers" and "Migration Patterns" continue with the development of thoughts begun in "By Surf and By Stream."

"Writers don't always know what they are writing until it is finished," she says with a grin.

" We dream before we do. All creative people dream first..."

"...the writer's mind does work differently from that of the person who doesn't come to understand himself. Learning to write is learning your own mind." Ken Atchity, "A Writer's Time, Making the Time to Write" Revised
and Expanded, 1986, 1995, W.W. Norton and Company, Inc. New York, NY
